Today, I received a rather curious call from a chap named John, who spoke with a pronounced Indian accent. Thankfully, I had come across an article recently that discussed scams of this nature, so I probed him for more specifics. To my astonishment, it became apparent that he had very little knowledge about the internet or broadband systems-quite unusual for someone purporting to be from BT, wouldn't you agree? I promptly ended the conversation and thought it wise to share this number on here to help safeguard others from similar encounters.
