I received a rather dubious phone call where the caller mentioned my name right off the bat. They launched into some convoluted tale about my supposed Windows computer being riddled with viruses. Honestly, I could see it was a classic con designed to lure me into granting them remote access to my system. The thing is, I don't even own a Windows machine! Once I made it clear I was aware of their little ruse and had no plans to engage with them, they promptly hung up. Quite the dodgy operation, if you ask me!
