I didn’t pick up since it was flagged as spam, and when I looked up EYG it turned out to be another cold call. I’ve told them plenty of times to take my number off their list. It used to show a Lincoln area code before, so I just never bothered answering. Now it’s a different number but same annoying company, so I just block it straight away.

About 15 years back, I asked EYG Home Improvements Spalding for a quote on a door. The price was way over the top, with a code something like 000 2 M U C H. Ever since then, they've been cold calling me every single month, even after I told them to take me off their list. They do have an office near a local Garden Centre, so I’m thinking of dropping off my late mum’s old hearing aid there - maybe then they’d finally hear us and stop pestering with these calls!

The person phoned asking if this was Mrs ....... When I told them they’d got the wrong number, they said sorry but then kept trying to chat. Eventually, they said they were ringing from EYG, some home improvement firm. I told them I don’t take unsolicited calls and ended the call there.

Got a call from someone named Simon, or at least that’s what he said. Managed to pick up but just sent him straight to voicemail. When I checked the number, turns out it’s a scam using my local dialling code. They’ve rung me a couple of times now.

Right, it’s EYG yet again... they’ve obviously had my number stored for yonks. Seems like they’ve pulled my info back out to pester me about new windows (spoiler: if I wanted any, I’d ring them up myself). Here’s a tip for nothing - stay clear of EYG Spalding at all costs. I wouldn’t even bother asking them for a price. Taking that route will only land you in a right mess. Trust me, dealing with these lot is a complete nightmare.

I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know. If it’s important, they can leave a message and I’ll ring back. The calls come every day for around a week, then they stop for a while, only to start up again after a few weeks. Blocking the number doesn’t help because they just call from another one. It’s pretty frustrating and I can imagine it’s really upsetting for others too.

On some days, I get more than one call even after clearly saying I’m not interested. In fact, I got called twice in one day after I specifically told them to stop ringing me. EYG Glazing keep ringing me non-stop! I first blocked their Spalding number but now they're using another office number to call me. They've clearly shared my contact around their different branches. Honestly, I won't be using their services ever, and it feels like I have to keep blocking every number they call from across the UK. I recently purchased some windows and doors from this company, and I must say, the quality was top-notch. That said, they appear to have a bit of a blind spot when it comes to respecting requests to stop sales calls.
