I received a rather dubious call purporting to be from a bank, warning me about potential unauthorised withdrawals from my account. However, the caller didn’t mention which bank they represented and ended up leaving a recorded message instructing me to press certain numbers on my keypad. It’s painfully obvious that this is a scammer attempting to fish for my account information. Honestly, they should find themselves a legitimate job instead of resorting to these rather pathetic attempts to con unsuspecting individuals!

I dared to take a mere five seconds to respond, and what do you know? She erupted like a volcano, hurling expletives my way and berating me for a full two minutes. Not only did she insult me, but she also had the audacity to drag my poor mother into it, branding her a slattern and referring to me as a wretched Brit. To label her as simply rude is putting it mildly; it’s as if this neanderthal has a naan bread lodged firmly where the sun doesn’t shine, leaving her choking on the flour for weeks on end!
