Got a call from some bloke saying it was my bank warning about dodgy withdrawals. Didn’t say which bank or anything, just some recorded message telling me to press buttons on my phone. Totally a scam, just trying to steal my details. They should really find a real job instead of this rubbish scamming nonsense!

The person on the phone said they were Veronica, but honestly sounded like a bloke from Asia. When I asked what was the deal they were trying to sell, they said they only wanted to ask some questions. Then they came out with my full name and address, asking me to verify it. I told them I wasn’t comfortable sharing any details with a stranger. At that point, they just disconnected.

I only hesitated a few seconds before answering, and she immediately started screaming abuse, calling me all sorts of names like a British bastard and insulting my mum. Saying she was rude doesn’t even cover it, this lunatic must have a chapati wedged so deep she’s been coughing up flour for ages.
