Received a call from someone claiming to be a senior technician from BT Openreach, supposedly wanting to chat about our subpar broadband performance and sluggish internet speed. It has to be a con, especially as we’re not even BT customers!

Someone rang pretending to be from BT about my slow internet. When I asked how they could prove they were actually BT, they told me to enter a code on my browser. I obviously said no and asked them to verify my name instead, and then they just hung up. I tried ringing back and it did ring, but no one picked up.
