Got a call from 01773783480 today at 8:45am, scam alert for sure. Seriously, how do they not get tired of trying all the time?

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent saying they were from BT, telling me there were issues with my internet router. They asked about my connection speed and wanted me to check the router’s colour, saying it should be green but mine was blue. Then they quickly changed their story saying that must be alright. Next, they tried to hand me a website link, but I couldn’t make out what they said properly because the line was poor and the accent was tough to follow. I told them I’d just call BT directly to sort it out. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

SCAM ALERT Got a call claiming it was Amazon saying there was a charge of £49 on my account. I told them I’d look into it myself and wouldn’t give any info on the phone. They just hung up right after that. Definitely a scam!
