Got a recorded call today saying it was from Bank Security Services, but they never mentioned which bank. The message claimed there were two card transactions, one supposedly from Amazon, and asked me to press “1” to talk to an advisor. Got almost the same call yesterday, but from a different phone number. Absolutely rubbish. OFCOM really should sort out how these numbers get assigned to so-called “legitimate” companies.
