This bloke rang up trying to trick my 97-year-old mum into handing over her bank card info, saying it was about a recent purchase that supposedly didn’t go through. Luckily, my mum was baffled and told him she’d hand the phone over to me instead. As soon as I got on the line, the caller hung up straight away.
