8 yearsI received a call regarding someone who hasn't resided in my area for ages. When I informed the woman of this fact, she bizarrely suggested that perhaps I could assist her. She then started probing about my details, including my age, my energy provider, and whether I was a tenant or owner. At that point, I was quite irritated and asked her directly what she required. She responded with an unusual, "I just want to ensure I'm speaking to the correct person." Given I had already clarified that I wasn’t the individual she sought, this struck me as rather peculiar. To add to the oddity, she recited an incorrect postcode of mine and then requested that I spell my surname. That was when I made the decision to end the call.
