Yesterday this number rang me up. The caller already had my name and also the name of a woman who was involved in an accident with me. They kept pushing me to admit that the accident caused me pain, headaches, or stress due to the seatbelt - all so I could claim compensation. I kept saying none of that happened. After a long chat, he finally said he was going to 'close the case'. Honestly, they were so persistent, it was quite annoying.

Got a call from this guy yesterday who already knew my name and mentioned a woman hitting me with her car. He kept pushing me to say the crash caused me pain, headaches or stress so I could claim some compensation. I kept telling him none of that was right about what happened. After a long chat, he finally said he’d ‘close the case’. Properly persistent bloke.

Twice now I’ve had a call from someone claiming to be checking up on an insurance no-fault claim I supposedly made. They said they were reviewing or auditing it. But when I asked which company they were with, they hung up straight away, just like the first time. It’s clearly a scam, so don’t even answer if they ring you.
