Got a call from a Derbyshire firm that sells medical mobility gear. They asked for Mr Surname and wanted to know how I was finding the mobility aids. I asked for a first name since just “Mr and Mrs” wasn’t much to go on. Told them the couple they mentioned had actually been dead for over a decade, so their info is well out of date. She promised to remove the names from their list. Total cold call. Sounds like their database needs a serious update. Could have easily pretended to chat more just to get info for more calls down the line.
