This woman rang me saying she was from some CMS compliance firm. She claimed I was owed £2500 for a personal injury from an accident and even mentioned the exact date it happened. I told her I never made any personal injury claim cos I wasn’t hurt at all. She then said that by law, all third party insurers have to set aside £2.5k and if no one claims it, the money goes to the claimant’s insurers. Said their call was just to help me get the money. Said no bank details were needed and they’d email me more info. Felt way too fishy to be real.

Got a call from someone saying they were with the AA about some ‘damage to my vehicle’. I’m not even signed up with the AA and my car’s fine. Pretty obvious this was a scam.

Yet another dodgy number blocked thanks to lockdown, fingers crossed for some quiet now. Funny, they don’t ring on weekends, hopefully they shut down these call centres soon. They said they read our comments on here, so good luck to the scammer from Preston - you’ve been traced too. Just leave us in peace, we’re worth so much more than you lot and your rubbish scams!

I dont even bother picking up anymore, just block straight away. Its not right and should be illegal but they still seem to get away with it.
