Got a call from someone claiming to be from Crime Prevention and said they were working around my postcode. When I asked who exactly they were with, the call just got cut off. Suspicious if you ask me.

this number has been calling me on and off lately. most times they just drop the call or you can hear weird noises in the background. finally picked up today and they claimed to be partnering with the local police to install alarm systems. then they asked if I live at a certain address, which was wrong. as soon as I said no, the woman just ended the call.

Got a call from number 01772970928 on 27th April 2022 around 10:18. The voice sounded like one of those robot-style calls, speaking Punjabi with a thick Birmingham accent, but the line was really bad. Some random person was pretending to be from a dodgy outfit - total scam alert. They were going on with nonsense, loads of jibber-jabber, trying to pull off some phishing nonsense. Definitely a scam call, don’t even bother answering.

Got a call from a number I didn’t know, no voicemail just some strange sounds. Instantly blocked!

I asked who it was and then they just hung up on me.

It happened three days in a row so I just giggled and ended the call each time - now they’re blocked.

Definitely a dodgy call trying to push some fake insurance deal. Wouldn’t trust it for a second!
