Got a call from a woman claiming to be local, offering free CCTV for my home without even asking if I wanted it. She just said they were coming round, no permission asked. In the background, you could hear loads of chatter like a busy call centre to make it seem legit. When I told her she was jumping to conclusions, she hung up straight away before I could tell her I hadn’t agreed to anything. I live in Tarporley, and she couldn’t even say the name right. Makes me worried because I have no idea what they’d have done if I’d fallen for it. Seems pretty dodgy to me.
