Naturally, I queried them about the make, model, and registration of the vehicle supposedly involved, but they were utterly stumped. So, I pointed out the obvious: if they had all the details at hand, why on earth couldn't they simply provide me with the registration number? When I probed them for more information, the caller became rather flustered, and I could hear someone else in the background grow increasingly aggressive before they abruptly hung up. As if that weren’t enough, I’ve already had two silent calls from the same number today! I’ve lodged a complaint regarding yesterday's fiasco with the ICO, and today’s ineffectual calls have been reported to Ofcom.
