Got a call from someone with a strong accent saying they worked in credit card fraud protection, mentioning a couple of charges I had supposedly made recently. None of it sounded right as I haven’t made those purchases. Definitely feels like a scam. Odd thing was, the number showed up as a local landline instead of being hidden or ‘number withheld’.
