I got a call from a woman who addressed me by name, probably got my details from a business directory or something. She sounded really convincing, saying I’d backed a local bullying awareness programme run by emergency services in schools. She claimed I’d signed up for a 5-year commitment but had only done it once. When I questioned her on this, she just hung up - it was total rubbish. Tried ringing back to tell her what I thought, but the number wouldn’t let me connect. Stay well clear of them, I reckon they’re just after donations for a bogus cause.

I tried calling back after they hung up on me, but it turns out the number’s not even real!

Got a call today from someone saying I’d agreed to back some safety campaign and that they had my voice on tape from September. We were closed at that time, so there’s no way I actually said that. Pretty believable though, I almost fell for it!
