I reckon it could have been a real call from BT since the day after, I got a message from them asking for my thoughts about someone called Guide who rang me. Maybe it had something to do with setting up fibre broadband or a VOIP service. I didn’t pick up at the time though, as the number seemed a bit sketchy.
