This bloke called me saying he had a spot open in his directory for mobile mechanics, 'cause the last guy had quit, so I should hurry and grab it. Only one spot left in some online list? Seemed a bit off. When I mentioned I wasn’t interested in paying for any advertising, he just dropped the call. Feels like he was trying to scam me out of my bank info. The biggest giveaway? Random cold calls like that - legit companies don’t do that rubbish.

Got a call from a bloke with a proper English accent who claimed he was following up on our company registration or something. Told him straight up we hadn't signed up for anything and definitely didn’t want to be listed anywhere. Of course, he launched into the typical sales pitch: “So you don’t want extra work then? It’s free, I just need to verify your info.” Yeah right, I’m sure he’s after my bank details or something dodgy like that. Definitely a scam.
