I recently received a call from a company that was formerly known as RMA, which I believe has been taken over by NCO. It seems they’re now operating as debt collectors, so I assume the call was related to an overdue credit card payment. Quite concerning, to say the least!

I received a couple of texts from this number earlier today, urging me to return the call and mention a reference number. Honestly, I haven’t the foggiest idea who these folks are or how they’ve come by my mobile number. It appears there’s a bit of a flurry of similar calls today, all beginning with 01772. They all seem like they might be up to some sort of dubious telemarketing scheme. My advice? Best to just ignore them, or pick up the phone if you fancy rolling the dice!
