They asked me to press "1" and all that, but obviously I didn’t bother. Wouldn’t advise anyone to fall for it either. Also, the scammer faked the area code. Just a few days ago, I got the same prerecorded warning from a number with a Sheffield code. When are phone companies gonna start cracking down on these fake UK area codes?
