Today I've got SEVEN annoying calls. This was the 6th in just 2 hours. I answered with "Yeah?!" and the woman said "don’t you mean good afternoon?" I shot back, "Well, that really depends on who you are and what you want." She just hung up! Clearly, she wasn’t confident about what she was trying to sell and got a bit annoyed when people weren’t polite. Since these are just cold calls, my advice is: DON'T PICK UP. That’s the smartest move.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Sasha at the Pension Reclaim Service, asking if I’d moved any pension money in the past five years. The odd thing is, he addressed me by name right off the bat. I did a quick search for the company online, but came up empty-handed. He mentioned that they were associated with some law firm called Smooth Commercial Law located in Liverpool, which appears to be a legitimate business. While the call felt reasonably authentic, I must admit I'm feeling rather wary given the current climate of scams.
