I received a recorded call claiming to be from my internet provider, stating they were going to terminate my service because of some supposed illegal activities. I chose to hang up right away, as it clearly seemed like a scam to me.

I received a call from a bloke who left a recorded message, supposedly from BT. He mentioned that my phone line was at risk of being cut off unless I hit either option 1 or 2. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
