This lot seemed particularly intent on obtaining our private information, and I certainly have no intention of handing it over the phone to a business I’ve never even heard of! Absolutely not! Absolutely, it appears to be IQOR. We received a call from a number that seemed to be pre-recorded, just like the one mentioned. The callers were looking for someone who must have had our phone number prior to us since this is a new line we've taken on.

I’ve just received a call that left me quite puzzled. When I asked, "Who is this?" the chap on the other end outright refused to divulge any details, merely mentioning he was calling from Preston. It’s all rather familiar to me; I’ve had experiences like this in the past. My strategy? I politely inform them that without the name of their organisation, I can’t connect the call. Or I might add that Mrs X doesn’t answer calls from numbers she doesn’t recognise. Essentially, if they can’t properly identify themselves, my reply is usually, “They’re not available at the moment!” Quite amusing, really!

I received a phone call earlier today, which was rather peculiar. It featured a pre-recorded message that mentioned our names and provided a reference number, urging us to return the call. When we obliged and called back, a gentleman introduced himself from an outfit called High Court Recoveries. He then asked us to reference the number that the recorded message had given us, but we declined to share that information. Instead, we pressed him for clarification on the matter, to which he simply stated that he couldn't disclose any details and promptly ended the conversation. Quite the bizarre interaction, if you ask me!
