Then they called again a moment later, and an automated voice said there were two charges on my account - one about £300 and another over £1000, can't quite remember the exact figures. The message claimed both payments were to Amazon, but since I've never spent anything close to that there, they flagged it as suspicious and told me to press 1 to approve or 2 to reject the payments.
