Got a call around 9:30 in the morning UK time from a bloke who sounded like he was from India. He claimed to be from TalkTalk internet but as soon as I said I knew it was a scam, he just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was calling on behalf of Talk Talk about some issue with my router. She asked about the lights on it and I replied, "Oh yeah, all lights are blinking away perfectly." I ended up giving her number to Talk Talk customer service who confirmed it was a scam. Pretty obvious in the end!

I received a call from this number, but thankfully, BT Call Guard intercepted it. Seems like it was the right move!

Got a call last week and then another earlier today from someone claiming to be with TalkTalk. They asked for my address info and mentioned my broadband was acting up, which was true - my connection had been patchy. The caller’s English was pretty poor, not what I’d expect from a proper call centre, so I just ended the call. Later, I looked up the number online and stumbled upon this site. So far, I’m winning this one!

I got a call really early today, like 7:30 in the morning! Thought it was a scam straight away since a couple of days ago I had an odd call from a woman with an accent saying she was from Talk Talk. Honestly, I’m pleased I didn’t bother jumping out of bed to pick up this one!

Got a call from someone who said they were with Talk Talk, and he somehow knew my husband’s name but gave a bogus account number. The weird part is, we’re actually with Plusnet! They said they’d ring back in about 30 minutes and honestly, I can't wait to have a proper rant at them. Seriously, don’t trust these lot!

Got a weird call on my landline early this morning. Tried ringing back but just got the engaged tone every time. Definitely dodgy. Best to block and ignore these types, maybe even report ’em.

Some bloke rang claiming to be from TalkTalk about a router issue. I told him I wasn’t using the computer and doubted he was actually from TalkTalk. Then I just hung up on him.

Got a call from a woman who said she was from Talk Talk, asking if my router was acting up. I told her it wasn’t. Since it was the second time they’d called, I just hung up.

I had a rather dodgy call from this number earlier today, claiming to be my internet service provider. It was obvious from the start that it was a scam! The woman couldn't even get the simplest information about my account correct, nor did she seem particularly savvy with computers. I decided to end the conversation and hung up, but lo and behold, they called me back, obviously miffed I had cut them off. When I told her I was tracking the call through this site- which I genuinely was-she lost her temper and told me to 'get lost' before slamming the receiver down! Just a word of warning to everyone out there-stay vigilant!

Got a call at half past seven this morning while I was still in bed, but the caller hung up before I could answer. No clue who it was. I’m guessing it might be another TalkTalk scam since we've been plagued by those router scams too often. Honestly, TalkTalk should be responsible and pay back everyone who gets these annoying calls because it’s clear their numbers are being leaked somehow.

Got a call bright and early at 7:41am from a woman claiming to be with TalkTalk saying there was an issue with my router. She wouldn’t provide any account info when I asked, so I told her I knew she was trying to scam me and ended the call. A few minutes later, she rang again trying the same trick. When I mentioned I was checking their number through caller ID, she told me to “go to hell” and hung up abruptly. Watch out for this one!

Today, I received a call from a gentleman speaking with a distinctly foreign accent. He claimed to represent my internet service provider. Initially, I informed him that I wasn’t online at all, yet he persisted, insisting that I was a customer. Curious, I asked him to name my provider, but he attempted to dodge the question with some mumbo jumbo about data protection. I pointed out that he was the one ringing me, not the other way around. Despite my efforts, we just kept going in silly circles. Eventually, I got fed up and hung up the phone, promptly blocking the number thereafter.

Got a call from a bloke with what sounded like an Indian accent, claiming to be from my internet provider. I told him I wasn’t even using the internet, but he insisted otherwise, saying he could see it from my phone line. I asked him to name my provider then, but he just kept going on about data protection rules. I pointed out that he was the one who rang me, so surely he should tell me who he was if I was to trust him. We just went back and forth, and he got more and more annoyed. In the end, I hung up and blocked the number.

I got a call about some sort of issue with my router too. When I asked them for a phone number to confirm who they were, they just ended the call. Didn’t seem legit at all to me.

Received an unsolicited call from this number, and the chap who spoke had a rather strong accent that made it a bit tricky to follow what he was on about. I ended up being put through to a lady who sounded Indian. While I was in conversation with her, my wife reached out to our local tech repairer, who promptly informed us it was all a scam, so I decided to hang up. After that, they attempted to ring me back three times in rapid order, but I chose to completely disregard their calls.

I got a call from a bloke with what sounded like an Indian accent claiming he was from my internet company. I told him I don't even use the internet, but he insisted I did, saying he could tell from my phone line. I asked him to name my internet provider, but he just brought up data protection rules. I reminded him he was the one who called me, so surely he should be able to prove who he was if I was supposed to believe him. After a few rounds of him avoiding the question and getting more annoyed, I just ended the call and blocked the number.

Something similar happened to me - this woman called claiming she was from TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my router. Even when I told her I wasn’t a TalkTalk customer, she insisted she could tell by looking at the router. Pretty weird!

Got a phone call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying they’d noticed loads of issues with my router. The same old story really. I just told them to find something better to do or scam someone else. They spoke decent English, but it was clear they weren’t local, maybe from somewhere in Asia.

Got a call today at 8:50 in the morning, UK time. It was an Indian guy claiming to be from TalkTalk, telling me there were security problems with my broadband router. Total rubbish, and his voice was kind of soft-spoken too.
