What on earth is the point in having these companies when there’s no proper oversight? Honestly, the Telephone Preference Service is utterly pointless - it’s like shouting into the void. I can’t help but feel for that poor chap in Bristol who took his own life; these incessant calls from companies and so-called charities can really drive someone mad. The Government needs to step up and clamp down on these nuisances so we can enjoy some peace and quiet in our own homes. I’ve mentioned it before, but we’re in a position where we HAVE to pick up every call because of our son’s serious health needs while he’s at school or outside with others.
