I just got a call from this number claiming there was a frozen pension plan linked to me. I asked where they’d gotten my information from, and they said they bought it from an Opt in Datahouse or something like that, but I couldn’t find it anywhere online. I mentioned they should’ve checked with the TPS before calling, but they said they normally do, although some numbers "slip through the cracks". I told them firmly not to bother me again and ended the call. Honestly, with so many companies selling our info around, being on the TPS doesn’t seem to make much difference anymore. Caller was Pension Performance Group.

Got a call from someone who said they were the "Pension Performance People". They told me my pension was frozen because I'd supposedly opted out of SERPS. I told them I wasn’t aware of opting out at all, then they just hung up.
