So this company called Kings Corporate tried to buy my business, which they obviously knew nothing about. They even managed to guess my full name, which felt really dodgy. Honestly, it smells like a scam to me. They send out these letters, and if you check with Companies House, their directors are the ones who end up bankrupting you and then just start a new company altogether. I’ve heard about similar scams happening with breweries now too. Not sure if the caller was fully aware, but the directors behind it definitely are, setting up new companies to pull the same trick again.

Got a call from 01772418446 pretending to be interested in buying my business, but it was totally a scam. Don't trust!

I let the phone ring the first time without picking up, but a few moments later the same number called me again. They said they were from a company looking to purchase my business, although I didn't quite catch who exactly. I told them I wasn't interested and ended up blocking the caller.
