Got a call from Places for People earlier, it was one of those automated messages. They wanted to check if I’m still good for the upcoming electrical repair visit. Bit unusual to get a robo call about it, but I guess it’s helpful.

I got a call on my mobile while walking the dogs - luckily I’ve got a filter set up on my landline so I barely get scam calls there anymore. The bloke on the phone said he wanted to offer me a few options to cut down my gas and electricity bills. He even asked if he could ring me back later when I was home, but I told him quite firmly that I’m perfectly capable of checking comparison websites and moneysaving expert stuff by myself. I thanked him for the call but made it clear I wasn’t interested in any unwanted tips on saving cash. Needless to say, I’ve blocked the number now.

Sounds like a total scam to me, I answered the phone and no one was there on the other end.

They ring me like twice every day, it's so irritating!

i get calls nearly every day, sometimes three or more times. ended up putting it on auto reject cos its that annoying.

So this number rang me on Saturday 7th April 2018 at about 10:42 in the morning. I didn’t pick up at first but later tried calling back. It just went straight to voicemail saying the office was closed and only open on weekdays. Bit strange getting calls on a Saturday then, isn’t it?

I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know. If it’s someone genuine, they can leave a message and I’ll ring back. But they never do, so I’m guessing it’s just a pest.
