I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT about my internet service. Thing is, I’m not even a BT customer. When I asked them about it, they just hung up on me.

i had a call from what looked like the official nhs test and trace, but i didn’t pick up. the number on my phone showed as 03000135000. later, i got a voicemail saying the caller was actually from 01772367970. i’ve tested positive for covid but i’d already done the test and trace online, so this seemed fishy. pretty sure the number was spoofed or something dodgy going on.

I answered the call but no one spoke on the other end.

Got a call from some bloke called Matthew, said they’re government certified to sort out loft insulation. Reckoned my current insulation was making my place damp and all, and wanted to pop round next week. I kept telling him no but he just kept at it. Ended up just hanging up on him.
