They called me two times and hung up straight away both occasions. Seems like they want me to call them back, what a waste of time. I’ve blocked the number now. If anyone knows who they actually are, maybe we should all leave a 1 star review on their Google page, looks like a total scam to me.

Seems like those so-called positive reviews might actually come from the same outfit, probably trying to bump up their dreadful rating. It’s like they’re aiming to go from downright harassing to just mildly irritating, but it’s still pretty frustrating!

Got a call from someone with no intro, asking for a totally wrong name. When I asked why they were calling, they just ended the call right away. Really rude behaviour and definitely not a firm I’d trust or deal with.

I’m pretty sure my phone number isn’t linked to any companies I’ve dealt with, and I did sign up with the TPS ages ago to block these sorts of calls.

I had a ring from this firm and after spotting all the bad reviews, I was a bit sceptical so I called them back. Honestly, as someone who runs a little tea shop in Carlisle, it was no big deal at all. Actually, I’m thinking of working with them now and fingers crossed they’ll sort me out with some decent quotes. Really don’t see what all the fuss is about.

It was nothing harmful, just some bloke from a local energy company ringing me up to chat about deals for my upcoming energy contract. Pretty harmless really, nothing to worry about.

Got a call from Ideal Utilities asking to speak to the vicar or whoever handles the energy account for the church. I told them we use a broker who manages all that stuff for us, so we don’t chat about energy deals directly or on the phone. Then they wanted to know the name of the staff member who handles things with the broker and again insisted on speaking to the vicar. I had to repeat that the vicar isn’t involved with any contracts and we don’t discuss them over calls.

The staff at this company are really rude and persistent. I already told them I wasn’t interested but got a call from them 3 weeks later. They started going on about how saving money is good for the company like I needed lectures. Dealing with him was just annoying, so I ended the call. He was quite aggressive too. No thanks from me.

Ideal Utilities called me up about their cheaper energy deals, asking to speak with someone who used to be their office manager - probably got that name from their database. I told them I didn’t know when that person might be around. The bloke on the phone, speaking with a Brummie accent, just snapped back like, “So you’ve no clue when they’ll be in? Brilliant.” Proper rude sales guy, honestly.
