Got a call from a woman claiming she was following up on a call my husband took earlier. Told her we weren’t interested at all, and she suddenly turned quite rude. Ended up just hanging up on her. Proper unpleasant person.

Had this young lass call me up, telling me she’s no good for anything else and basically a right mess. Honestly, I wasn’t bothered and told her she might wanna give the Samaritans a bell about sorting out her nonsense.

unbelievable! seems like utter morons are getting jobs answering phones! what will it be next, street cleaners without arms or legs? honestly, these clueless muppets should just take their benefits and stay home, society would be better off without wasting time employing such useless folks. so many dills out there, i’m glad they’re not pestering me nonstop. might as well pay them to sit around, little difference really.

I just heard there's some new rule coming up that’ll hopefully lock up these muppets who spend their time on the phone pulling scams. They should be stuck in some sort of place where their only phone can take calls, but they can't make any. Got a bloke ringing me up again and again, saying he can sort a free house survey and guaranteed cash for any repairs. I told him straight we wouldn’t get any funding and don’t need repairs anyway. This number rang at my folks' place and they get loads of annoying calls like this. When I picked up, I asked the bloke who it was - said his name was “Mark”, which I guessed was just a dodgy ploy. I asked what he actually wanted and the firm he was reppin’. He said something like “UK property search”. I told him my parents didn’t want anything to do with it, but he went on about ringing back later. His accent definitely sounded like he was from around Manchester or nearby.

So, this number rang me earlier today, the 8th of December 2015, saying they were from UK Property Research. They told me if I was under 85, I could "claim" something. I got a call from this number a couple of nights ago, someone was asking for Mrs Davies. I told them they’ve got the wrong number. Then today, they rang again, asking if I was the owner and who was calling, saying they were from UK Properties. I told them not to ring anymore since my number's unlisted, so no idea how they found it. Folks really need to watch out for these sorts of calls - caller said they were UK Propeties.

Got this number from 1471 around the afternoon of November 16th. Figured it might be one of those annoying spam calls so I decided to ignore it. Someone rang me saying they were from UK Property Research, supposedly working with a company called XPR. They told me I might be eligible for some kind of funding to cover external house repairs because I’m a homeowner under 85. Then they asked if I’d had any roof work done recently and whether my walls were insulated with cavity insulation. They mentioned XPR would get in touch later with more info about the funding I could claim. I looked them both up online but couldn’t find anything about either organisation, which made me suspicious enough to check their phone number here. - caller said: UK Property Research

Today I got a call from this number asking to speak with a "Mrs Johnson." The address they had for her was wrong, which is weird since I've owned this phone number for about 10 years. Seems their info is really outdated. The person said they were from "UK Property Services" and that they offer residential green grants, but I couldn’t find any info about this company online. When I asked for a contact number, they told me customer service can be reached on a mobile, 07795 026 165. Still, I couldn’t find any proper record of the business anywhere.

i got a call from a woman asking if i was interested in building maintenance stuff like gutters and roofing repairs. she said i'd qualified for some offer and would send me more info. i told her straight up that i wasn't interested at all and didn’t plan on using those services, so carrying on would be a waste of her time and mine. she was quite nice about it and seemed to get the message without making a fuss.

This code aint from Preston at all. These lot get SIM cards off Vietnam so they can pick whatever number they fancy, but it costs them. Some of the numbers aren’t cheap, so they’re trying to make their money back and then some if anyone takes the bait. Just hang up straight away like I did. TPS can’t help cause these numbers aren’t real or tied to any legit business.

I've been getting calls from this number about four times daily, had it ringing twice just this morning. I'm on the TPS as well, but honestly it feels pointless - you register and nothing changes. I reached out to my local MP, who basically said there's nothing they could do (big surprise there). Whenever I see a new number, I look it up on one of these sites but it's such a hassle. Can't say I'm shocked that no one calls them back, they'd probably be swamped dealing with complaints rather than making any nuisance calls themselves.

Got a call from someone saying they were with "Green Energy Research". They gave me a mobile number to ring back later since I was tied up: 07795 026165. They claimed to be working for a company called "Evo Renovations", but it smells of a complete scam. When I asked who was calling, they wanted my surname, so I told them Smith just to mess about. Definitely reporting them to the TPS as they’re clearly ignoring the no-calls list I’m on.

Got a call from them claiming they’ve got funding to do some job... sounds dodgy to me. The number showed up as from Preston, but it’s not a real listed one and you can’t ring it back. If they were genuine, why wouldn’t you be able to phone them? Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from this number today, luckily I don’t pick up if I don’t know who’s calling, but it's really sad how we’ve reached a point where you have to be so wary of every phone ring.
