This morning, I received a call from a woman who was promoting a special deal on emergency response equipment available for installation in certain locations around the MK43 postcode. She mentioned that the charge was merely £1 for each installed unit or setup.

Couldn’t stop giggling when they wanted me to give my employee ID.

Every time this number rings me, I answer and all I get is a weird automated voice just saying "goodbye". Bit strange, really.

Luckily, we use BT Answer so the call from this number just rang off without any message being left. Usually, when they don’t bother to leave a message, it’s either some cold call selling or worse, trying to scam and harvest real phone numbers to sell on. We've now added 01772 364017 to our block list to avoid any more hassle.

At about 3:15pm on 10th November 2021, I got a call on my landline from a lady who said her name was Claire Cavendish and that she was from Birmingham. She was pushing some kind of emergency response equipment that’s supposedly only available in limited amounts, meant to be fitted in places around the MK43 postcode. She mentioned that the setup would run off the household 230v supply and be monitored from various sites across the UK. The offer included a small £1 fee for installation or setup. I’ve yet to decide as I need to look into it a bit more before committing.

Looks like this number belongs to a Stuart Wright at 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF. At least now we get an idea where this dodgy caller is from! Can't say I'm surprised he’s got a big house, given all the people he's been scamming!
