Got a call from a bloke with a Filipino-ish accent saying he was from BT and said they’d had loads of complaints about my internet - the funny thing is, I don’t even have BT! I played along, going “Wow, seriously? Thanks a lot for the heads up!” The poor guy sounded like he was about to cry, kept saying “Thank you, thank you, you understand.” But once he caught me and my partner chuckling, his mood shifted fast and he went off calling me a bunch of rude names before slamming the phone down. Still cracking up about it now, honestly!

Had a call come through on my home phone from a bloke who spoke with a Filipino or Asian accent, saying he was calling from BT. He was really polite and said they’d had lots of complaints about my internet not working properly - which is odd since I’m not even a BT customer. I was caught off guard and blurted out, “Wow, thanks so much for telling me that.” The guy got a bit choked up and kept saying, “Thank you so much, you really understand.” Then my husband and I started giggling quietly in the background. Before he hung up, I heard him shout something like, “You f***ing b**ch” - quite the exit line! Honestly, it’s made my day 😂.
