I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who claimed he was from BT Openreach. He started telling me I had to log into my computer. When I asked for his number so I could ring back, he just said ‘no need to worry, alright? Have a good day’ and then cut off. Definitely looked like a scam to me.

Definitely a scammer. They kept ringing our office phone non-stop for about an hour. Most of the time they’d just cut off, but once a woman with an Asian accent said she was from BT Openreach, telling us our broadband was corrupted. {###Funny enough, we did recently have our line improved, but no way this was legit - just a dodgy scam call.

It was the same with me, phone just buzzed and the call got cut off straight away.

A lady with a strong Asian accent rang the place I work at from this number 01772312279. She claimed to be Ella from BT Openreach and wanted to speak to the MD. When I asked what the call was about, she refused to say. I told her the MD wouldn’t take the call without knowing why, and then she snapped, “You stupid lady, get lost,” and abruptly ended the call. I tried ringing the number back to check if it was genuinely BT, but there was no answer at all.

I've been getting calls from this number loads, but as soon as I pick up, they just hang up. Feels a bit dodgy, like they might be scammers.

No idea who it is but whenever I pick up they just hang up right away and keep calling again. Really annoying!
