I got a call from someone claiming to be from Citizens Advice, saying I had a massive debt and my credit score was really bad because of it. Totally not true. They went on about some government plan that could wipe out 80% of my debt! Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Citizens Advice, asking weird questions about loans I never even took out. Felt a bit dodgy to me, like some scam trying to trick people. Watch out for these sorts of calls!

On 9th July 2021, I got a call from 01772282924. The bloke sounded like English wasn’t his first language, plus the call seemed to come from overseas even though it used a UK area code. He said he was from Citizens Advice and started talking about debts, loans and credit cards - none of which I actually have. Definitely a scammer trying to trick me. I’ve blocked the number now and won’t be answering again.
