Upon answering, a person claiming to be from TalkTalk informed me about an issue with my telephone line. He insisted that in order to resolve the problem, he required remote access to my laptop. Naturally, I strongly objected to his request and advised him to cease contact immediately. I highly recommend that everyone takes the same course of action unless they wish to risk having their personal information stolen.
