Got a call out of the blue about renewing something with British Gas, but that’s not actually happening for me. Pretty sure it was just a scam or something fishy.

Spoke for ages about switching our energy deal even though our current one’s good till next Feb. They ended up emailing me a form with the direct debit bit left blank which seemed dodgy. That’s when I got a bit wary and decided to look up the number here. Turns out it wasn’t legit so I told them to stop calling and hung up quick.

Got a call claiming to be from Eon about my electric bill. Tried ringing them back but it just went straight to voicemail, no official message or anything. Could be someone working from home or maybe just a dodgy scam? Not sure what to think.
