Likely a spam call. Got a ring on my landline from a place I’ve never dealt with, didn’t pick up.

Got a call from an unknown landline number today, didn't pick up since it was from a place I have no dealings with. Seems like it could be some kind of spam.

Got a call from some woman who said that because Virgin and O2 were joining up, my mobile number might quit working. She tried to sell me a deal to stop that from happening.

Got a call from some Asian bloke claiming he was from O2, but he’s definitely not. They’ve already been told off and banned from phoning me. So yeah, total fibber. Watch out!

I picked up the phone and this automated voice kept going on and on, just saying "thank you for calling" over and over again.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise but no message was left, so pretty sure it was just some scammer again. My voicemail actually says something like “Leave a message or I’m just gonna assume you’re trying to scam me”. The real ones who call from unknown numbers usually find it funny and leave a message anyway! 😆
