31st March 2016: I’m situated in the 01771 area and had a rather frustrating call from the number noted above. Unfortunately, I could barely make out what the lady was saying; she seemed to get quite irate and abruptly hung up on me.

I reside in Mauchline and this number seems to be from the area. A Scottish voice insisted I’d been involved in an accident within the past couple of years, but they possessed no specifics. They claimed to represent a law firm, yet I decided to cut the call short. When I attempted to ring back, I was met with a voicemail stating that the extension wasn’t recognised. Clearly, it’s just a ruse.
