Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon saying my Prime subscription is about to renew and to press #1 if I want to speak with an advisor. Thing is, I don’t have an Amazon Prime account at all! I reckon if you do press #1, you might just end up chatting with some dodgy scammer trying to nick your banking info. If your Prime membership was really up for renewal, Amazon would surely send you an email from their official address, not some automated phone call like this. Feels like a classic scam to me.
