I just received a rather peculiar call from this number. The person on the other end simply kept repeating "hello." When I inquired about their identity, they bizarrely turned the tables and claimed I was the one who had called them, questioning what I wanted. Quite odd, to say the least!

We've been receiving repeated calls from this number, and every time we pick up, it disconnects almost immediately. It's becoming quite bothersome and a tad concerning, to be honest.

I got this too and freaked out. I clicked the link but it came up with a 404 error - hopefully that means PayPal or some fraud folks shut it down. It’s a proper scary one. £50 for what exactly?!

Got a dodgy email today pretending to be from PayPal, rang them up and they said it’s a scam. Don’t click any links or anything, luckily nothing was taken from my account. Have not received a phone call from them though.

I’m just about 10 miles from where this address is, and I’m seriously considering giving them a ring. Some scoundrel attempted to swipe £50 from my PayPal. They sent me an email with links to a fake PayPal login page, asking me to enter my info to stop the payment.

Had a call like this today too. I clicked the link and signed in but didn't enter any personal info. Did I mess up or am I alright? I rang PayPal and they told me to send it to their spoof team and just delete the email!

Happened to me today too. Relax, they haven’t removed anything from your PayPal account, JUST don’t click on any links in the email, that’s how they try to steal your details. Forward it to PayPal’s fraud department instead.

This number seems dodgy, I’ve reported it to PayPal. Redmires Lane is actually a site for caravans. They attempted to take £35.85 from my PayPal under that name and address.

Hey, I got the same email today saying I placed an order for £35.85 and thanking me for using PayPal. I haven’t bought anything at all. It mentions a shipping address: Dan Locke, 17 Redmires Lane, Sheffield S10 4Jz. A few days ago someone called me just shouting rude stuff, didn’t think much of it then. But after seeing others say similar, I’m worried now. What should I do? Will they withdraw the money from my account? The number they called from is 01743362202.
