So, I got a text from BT the day before and was waiting for a call from them on 29/07/08, which made it less weird when I got a call claiming to be from BT. I ended up reporting everything to Action Fraud, BT themselves, and my bank straight away. Just in case, I wiped my PC back to factory settings to get rid of any dodgy software they told me to install. It’s been more than a week now, and I’m still dealing with the fallout from that call, which dragged on for over 4 hours and 35 minutes. What a nightmare!
