somebody phoned me claiming to be from bt openreach, saying they could boost my internet speed. i played along for a bit just to see what they’d ask next. after a while, they tried to get me to install a remote desktop app so they could ‘fix’ my pc remotely. honestly, they must’ve thought i was completely daft. i pretended like i’d done the download, and they got really annoyed when i couldn’t make it work. these sort of con artists deserve to be locked up, proper scumbags.
