Then, no surprise, her ‘manager’ rang me right after from 01327 629637, supposedly based three hours away in some other town! It always cracks me up when they chat like they know my details, but clearly don’t, like not even realising I live in a council house - yet they keep pushing their rubbish script anyway!1 yearI picked up the phone but didn’t say a word at first, I usually wait for them to start talking if the number’s unfamiliar. There was this awkward silence for nearly 12 seconds before they just ended the call.
