Like some others have said, I got a dodgy call that seemed like a scam. I rang up my bank just to be on the safe side and they told me they hadn’t made any calls like that. Definitely dodgy!

Got this call with an automated message about some dodgy transaction on my bank account, telling me to press 1 if I wanna stop it. Honestly, do they think we’re daft? The number showed 01768, which I recognised straight away as Penrith. What a joke!

Got a robo call from someone saying they were from Visa security, but they never said which bank. They claimed there was a £600 charge and told me to press 1 to talk to an advisor! I was just telling my husband yesterday how the scam calls had slowed down. Guess I jinxed it!

I didn’t pick up, but the answering machine got an automated message like the one mentioned above.

Got a call from some automated robot saying it was Visa security about a £600 purchase I supposedly made. It told me to press 1 to speak to an agent if I didn’t recognise the charge. That’s not how Visa does things at all - usually they’d block anything dodgy and then ask you to approve it, not the other way round. Total scam trying to scare you into handing over info.

This is a total scam! My grandparents got a call saying £600 was withdrawn from their bank. It's just a trick, don't fall for it! Scam, scam, scam.

Got a robocall pretending to be Visa saying there was a £600 charge on my card. It kept asking me to press 1 to talk to someone. Sounds just like what the others here are talking about.

Just got a call from an automated voice saying £600 had been charged to my account and to press 1 if I want to cancel. No info about who was calling. Watch out for this!

My 90 year old was super sharp and thankfully saw straight through what was clearly a total con.

Got a call from some recorded message about a visa, totally a scam as you can tell straight away.
