Got a call from an unknown number, so I just hung up. After seeing what others said, I went ahead and blocked it.

01768 728695 - This number kept trying to scam my elderly dad by requesting his bank info. I grabbed the phone and fed them a bogus account number, then cut the call. The caller phoned back claiming he’d been watching me for quite a while and wanted to know my rates for sex. I ended the call again. Then he called once more asking about prices for a bj. Hung up straight away, reported it to the cops and blocked the number. Watch out since he was really pushy with my dad and could easily spook older people into handing over their bank details.

When I checked my last calls by dialling 1471, I found out that this number had phoned me.

Got two calls back to back within a couple of minutes from someone saying my computer was sending out scam alerts. I had already told them I wasn’t going to discuss my computer with them. The woman insisted on the issue but when I asked her to send proof by email, she hung up. I’m based in Carmarthenshire, Wales. Planning to block the number after this.

Said they were calling from Microsoft near Reading, but I really doubt it. Was rude and pushy, definitely not a friendly call.

Got a random call from someone saying he was 'Michael' and worked for Microsoft. He told me there was an issue with my computer and tried to convince me he was from their Reading office, even giving me a phone number for it - but honestly, that's easy to look up online! The call actually came from a Penrith number (01768 - 728695). Felt like a fishy scam to me.

Some bloke called Eddie phoned claiming he was from Microsoft. When I asked him to prove it, he just lost it and started swearing like mad. Proper rude!

Was using my slow laptop when this guy rang up telling me to open it and check something. Told him no thanks, my laptop’s fine. Ended the call because it sounded dodgy. Then the same bloke called back asking why I’d ended the call! Told him I’m reporting him to the police and just hung up again. What a cheek!

I received a rather peculiar call today from a lady identifying herself as Sarah, who claimed to work for Microsoft. She mentioned that they were giving away brand new, authentic operating systems at no cost, which immediately struck me as odd. It became quite evident that her primary objective was to pry into my personal details, as this isn't how Microsoft operates. Quite suspicious, I must say!

Somebody kept ringing me claiming they were from Microsoft, which I know for sure doesn't randomly ring people up. When I told them it was a scam, they kept calling back and even called me a coward. Proper annoying!
