I just got a call from a guy matching the exact description, and when I told him to take me off his list, he said he’s gonna ‘call me every day’. Seriously, what the heck, this is straight up harassment!

I've had 2 calls now, neither seemed to be from Penrith even though the area code showed that. Both sounded like they were from India. The first one was a woman yesterday, there was loads of noise in the background, and she just hung up as soon as I started asking questions. Then today at 10:46, a man called, I asked who he was and he just said "bt". I told him he wasn’t and that he was probably just spamming, then he cut off straightaway! Honestly, could be risky for my computer if this keeps happening. I've already put that number on my blocked list for BT calls.

Got a call from a woman who sounded Indian, with loads of noise in the back. She asked to speak to the person who owns the computer. When I asked who she was, she just hung up. Definitely a scammer.

Got yet another one of those spam calls again.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent pretending to be from BT tech support, saying there was an issue with my internet. When I asked her to prove she knew my IP address, she just hung up straight away. I could hear lots of other voices in the background too, so it’s clearly part of some big scam operation.

Today around 3:28pm, I got a call from 04768574114. The guy on the line spoke with a very strong Indian accent, which was a bit tricky to catch at times. He claimed to be from BT and called himself Roger. His story was that BT had found an issue with my internet and needed to fix it, asking me to let him access my router. I told him I was tied up then but might call back in about an hour. He gave me this number to ring back: 0202894174. Definitely seemed like a scam, so I didn’t bother calling him back. Just thought I’d share if anyone else comes across this number or situation.

Today, I got two calls on the 28th. One just ended suddenly. The other was from a woman with really bad English claiming to be from BT. I ended the call straight away.

She said she was with British Telecom, but when I asked if she was ringing from the Philippines or India, she just ended the call. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

Today, I received a call from this number at precisely 3.28pm. The individual on the line had a thick Indian accent, which made the conversation a bit tricky to follow. He claimed to represent BT, introducing himself as Roger. He mentioned that BT had detected an issue with my internet that he needed to address, and he requested access to my router. I responded that I was currently preoccupied and suggested that I would ring him back in about an hour when I could focus. He provided me with the number 0202894174 to get in touch with him. It struck me as a blatant scam call, so I opted not to return his call. I just wanted to pass on these details in case it assists anyone else in identifying similar scams.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, telling me there was an issue with my broadband. They then asked me to turn on my computer and give them my password. At that point, I just ended the call. The tricky part was the number appeared to be a legit UK number, so I nearly got fooled. When I tried ringing it back, it just went dead with a fault tone - clearly a scam. It’s mad how these things keep happening!

Got three more calls from that number today.

Had a rather peculiar experience with a phone call today. It was completely silent apart from a pre-recorded voice that simply declared, "Goodbye." Quite odd, really!

This is probably a fake number pretending to be from BT. They said my internet would get cut off tomorrow if I didn’t fix some supposed trouble with my computer software. It’s the usual scare tactic scam. As soon as I tried asking them some questions, they just hung up on me.

Said he was representing BT, but I quickly identified him as a fraudster and sent him packing with some rather colourful language!

Received a call today. The moment my voicemail kicked in and uttered the phrase "pesky callers," the caller promptly disconnected. Mission accomplished!

Lately, I’ve been receiving an incessant stream of calls from this particular number. Each time, the person on the other end doesn’t utter a word and promptly disconnects after a brief pause. As an elderly gentleman with disabilities and a son away on his travels abroad, I must admit these interruptions are rather distressing for me.
