Got a call from them earlier today, and the lady was actually quite polite, said I was the nicest person she’d spoken to all day. Asked some pretty simple questions, nothing too tricky. But then she kept going on about whether I’d be interested in receiving calls about certain stuff later on. I just said no to all of it. Feels like it’s just a survey to gather info, so when telemarketers ring again, they already know stuff like who your energy supplier is. Bit of a pain, honestly. Next time I’ll just say cheers but no cheers and hang up quick smart. Haha.

Got a call about a survey. They wanted details about services I’m using now, have had before and stuff I don’t use. After about 5 mins, I gave up - way too many personal questions and those annoying yes/no options. Didn’t seem local at all, had just the Penrith area code showing. The guy on the line sounded Indian.

Left a voicemail just now, pasted ‘f##k OFF’ about a thousand times. I’m expecting a really important call about my father-in-law, don’t want these annoying idiots ringing me constantly.

They rang me and I instantly told them to take me off their list, but they kept saying, "I'm not trying to sell you anything, this is just a survey about you." I kept insisting I didn’t want to be on their list, but they just repeated, "I’m not selling anything." After a few minutes of this back and forth, I gave up, hung up and blocked the number.

They kept ringing me, so I picked up and they asked if I was Mrs ###, which is actually my boyfriend's last name. We ain't married though, so I have no clue how they came about that name. Turns out it’s because of his mum, who died a long time ago. Definitely avoid picking up.

I picked up because the number showed as local (Penrith) but it was some survey with just 3 questions. Even when I told them I wasn’t interested, they wouldn’t stop talking and only stopped when I hung up. These calls really need to be blocked!

First off, it was a robo call, and when I answered it connected me to an operator. I thought these calls were meant to be banned? The person said they were from “I love my offers” then just ended the call. I’d never come across that company before but managed to find their info on Google, so I’ve emailed them asking to have my info deleted. Definitely keep reporting these calls to the ICO if they have your data without permission, it’s easy and only takes a minute. Just note down the time, number and what they said. If enough people complain, the ICO will investigate.

It turned out to be one of those surveys about energy companies. They even said I was the nicest person they’d spoken to all day. They said it’d be just 3 quick questions, about 30 seconds. But there were loads more questions and it dragged on for ages. I eventually got fed up, said thanks and hung up! The number showed up as Penrith.

They kept ringing me loads even after I told them they had the wrong number. Happened before too - they ask a bunch of weird questions and secretly gather info on you. Then they sell your details to other spam companies who flood your phone with calls. I played along once and completed their survey, giving fake answers every time, even my name. Now I always know it's a scam as soon as they start talking.
